The answer is the Innovation Café. Nestled in the Michigan Life Science & Innovation Center, IC has outdoor patio dining and a main room full of natural sunlight.

The creative menu has daily specials and vegetarian and gluten-free choices, using organic ingredients, local vendors and Michigan products whenever possible.

Connect at the Café. Join us at our special events where you can meet others around a special Barbecue or at a hands-on Lunch & Learn. We also will cater your meetings, conferences and fundraisers – in our center or at other locations.

Chef/owner Traver Lucas’ believes that good-tasting, nutritious recipes start with quality ingredients from the farm, sea and garden.

In buying Michigan-raised products, Chef Lucas and his staff put the local community first, supporting people from around the area. Buying locally also means seasonal menu choices that are interesting, freshly prepared and always changing.
